Support Week

Wow, gotta love support week. This week is my week to be the lucky guy who gets to wake up and be at work an hour and a half early. This part would be ok if it wasn't for the fact that you are not rewarded for getting up early by, say, getting OFF early. Therefore you have to work mandatory overtime, which is perfectly fine if we were compensated for it at the least, but we aren't. In fact, early morning/after hour support is worse because all the techs have to do it and therefore there isn't even a Thank You for doing your week. We all get a little bit of pity, but only a very little bit. Of course, Jeff works 8 - 5:30 instead of the 8:30 - 5:30 like the rest of us without any complaint. He does overtime every single day and I doubt anyone recognizes that. Then Mark works 8:30 - 5 almost every day. Mark successfully works the least of any of the techs; Jeff the most. (well, it was me working the most there for a while, but things have settled down a bit)

Oh well, I'm just very happy that support week only happens once every 5 weeks! I'm also happy that people discovered coffee! Ahh, so many things to be thankful for =).
