The First Surprise

It's a miracle! I actually managed to surprise Evelyn last weekend! The plan for last weekend was for me to hurry to finish work. However, I happened to have a bit of time and thought that I would surprise her by going up to Edmonton to see her! I told her that I was going out with my sister to do some shopping, then I rushed out the door and headed for Edmonton. I'm not that great at lying, so she was a little suspicious of my "going shopping with Heather" bit. However, as I had hoped, she thought that I was out shopping for a gift for her! Anyway, I got to Edmonton and called her, asking her if she needed a ride home. She was SO happy to see me! Of course, it basically goes without saying that I was super happy to see her also (but I'll say it anyways). We got to spend a nice weekend alone together...just me, her, and her brother. =)

I'm back in Calgary now, however, looking forward to next weekend when I'm going to go up to Edmonton again! Only a few more days....
